Accommodation

A block of rooms has been held at the IBIS Hotel Bristol Harbourside which is immediately adjacent to the At-Bristol Science Centre, the venue for the meeting.

Favourable rates have been obtained for the Sunday and Monday nights, at only £69 for single occupancy or £74 for twin, to include bed and breakfast.

To book your accommodation please contact the hotel directly at this email address h5547@accor.com

They will then send you a payment form which you will need to complete and return in order to confirm the booking and prepay it.

All rooms need to be prepaid and the deposit is not refundable.

Please note that the IBIS will release all unsold rooms on 25 April so to take advantage of these rates you should book as soon as possible.

If you are intending to arrive on the Saturday evening the IBIS rates are much higher at £115 single/£120 twin so you might prefer to look at other options.  We would strongly recommend the Youth Hostel, also located in Bristol’s Harbourside district, or for novelty value how about the Kyle Blue Hostel Boat?

Grants

We realise that the start of the meeting on Sunday afternoon and the early start on Monday may present additional difficulties for some. As well as the usual New Investigator Awards and Bursaries there are also additional New Investigator and Carer grants.  See Awards and Grants page for further information.
