I am an averagely experienced research scientist in the bone biology arena with emphasis on
musculoskeletal engineering and cartilage regeneration. I also have good track records in veterinary clinical practice, with bias in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. I am also a responsible, highly self-motivated scientist who displays clear organisational skills and determination, capable of working alone or as an excellent team player with little supervision.
My genuine interest in science, especially bone biology, has been consolidated by the university studies and jobs I have undertaken over the last few years. I am always striving to improve my scientific process skills and learn new techniques in the different projects I undertake. I am passionate about science and
am an excellent communicator of it, as demonstrated by some scholarship awards I have received after my undergraduate studies.
Presently, I am investigating the biocompatibility, osteoinduction, osteoconduction and osteointergration potential of demineralised caprine bone xenograft transplantation in rabbit model.
