Registration Fees

 

 

Full meeting: The registration rate for the full three day meeting includes pre-meeting workshops and the all other scientific sessions on Wednesday 10 July as follows (please select which session you will plan to attend when you register); and then all sessions on Thursday 11 July and Friday 12 July.  Lunch and refreshments at the conference venue are included on all days as per the programme.

CABS members: We are delighted to offer our friends and colleagues who are attending the CABS meeting which will take place at The Edge straight after our meeting (12-14 July 2024) the opportunity to extend their stay should you wish to, and book for BRS 2024 at the BRS member rate.  Please just select that option when you register.  

 

Single Day tickets: Single day tickets can be purchased for each day (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. If you select this option, please remember to tell us which day you will be attending. Lunch and refreshments are included on each day.

 

Reduced/Concession registration fee:  To confirm your eligibility for the reduced fee you must send the eligibility form completed by your Head of Department of Supervisor to events@boneresearchsociety.org within 7 days of registering meeting the following criteria:  

Eligibility criteria: (you must meet criteria 1 and then one or more of 2, 3, 4 & 5)

  1. A Member of BRS (at the time of applying and during the annual meeting)
  2. In training or within 5 years of attainment of higher degree or completion of specialist training based on full time equivalent work (allowances can be made for career breaks e.g. maternity leave/sickness/changing careers or for those working part time; please add details).
  3. Or you must be earning less than £20K per annum
  4. Or from a current lower-middle-income country
  5. Or Retired.

BRS Carers Allowance

We realise that attending meetings and being away from home may present difficulties for those with caring duties. A grant of up to £100 is available to members who incur additional childcare or other caring costs to attend the annual BRS meeting.

Cancellation of Registration / Refund Requests

All cancellations of registration or refund requests must be made in writing to the Bone Research Society events@boneresearchsociety.org

Cancellation of registration or refund requests will be accepted until and on Friday 10 May 2024 – cancellation requests received before this date will be subject to an administrative charge of 10%.

For cancellations or refund requests made after Friday 10 May 2024 (for any reason including ill health) we regret that no refunds can be made or authorised.

Please send your email confirmation and receipt with the written cancellation. Refunds will be processed after the event.

It is recommended that all delegates take out insurance to cover their registration, travel and accommodation costs to cover the case that they are unable to attend or the event is cancelled for any unforeseen reason. The BRS takes no responsibility for reimbursing delegates’ expenses in such cases.

Delegates are fully liable for damages caused to third parties and property. All delegates shall have valid, comprehensive third party liability insurance.
