The Edge
The BRS Cancer and Bone Workshop, Single Cell Multiomics in Musculoskeletal Tissue Workshop, Rare Bone Disease Session, ECR New Investigators Networking Event and the BRS Annual meeting will all be held at the The Edge, University of Sheffield. Located in the Endcliffe residences, this is a purpose built conference designed with style and flexibility in mind.

The Diamond
The Image based BioMechanics Workshop and From CT to Printed Models Workshop will be held at The Diamond. Please note, these are small, interactive workshops for a maximum of 20 delegates at each so they will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Since its opening in September 2015, The Diamond has created a fantastic place for modern interdisciplinary teaching, generating interest from all over the world. It won the 'Design Through Innovation' award in the 2016 Yorkshire and Humber Region Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) awards and was also shortlisted for the Yorkshire awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
Inside, its six storeys boast specialist teaching facilities including a range of lecture theatres, seminar rooms, open-plan learning spaces, library and IT services, and space for informal study including a cafe.

Endcliffe Student Village is located to the south west side of Sheffield, off Fulwood Road, which can be accessed via the A57.
By Car
Parking on the Endcliffe Village site is very restricted; there is some on-site parking which may be used if you pre-arrange a permit. There is on-road parking in the surrounding streets.

By Train
Sheffield is at the heart of the railway network. Regular services operate between Sheffield and London St Pancras (21/2 hours), Birmingham (11/4 hours), Leeds (1 hour), Manchester (1 hour) and Nottingham (1 hour). The 40 bus stop is a short walk away – stand D6 at the transport interchange.
By Taxi
There are taxi ranks at the Railway Station and the City Hall. The journey to The Edge can take 20 minutes; you should expect to pay about £8. Uber is available in Sheffield, and the local firm Veezu has an app or you can book on 01142 39 39 39, or there are black cabs at the station.
By Bus
The 40 bus service departs from the transport interchange (stand D6); it runs every 10 minutes during daytime weekdays and Saturdays, and every 20 minutes until midnight in the evening and Sundays. Ask for the Endcliffe Crescent stop. The 120 and 80 buses also runs close to The Edge.

There is a mini-supermarket called The Village Store just a 3 minute walk away from the Jonas and Halifax hotel which is open from 8.00am to 11.00pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (from 9.00am on Saturday morning).
The Sheffield Late Night Pharmacy is a 10 minute walk from the Edge and is open from 7.00am until 10.00pm, Wednesday to Saturday.
