The BRS Dent Lecture is awarded to someone who has made a major scientific contribution to field of bone research, either within the UK or internationally. The recipient gives a plenary lecture at the BRS annual meeting.

For the top scoring abstracts from eligible authors. The award will consist of free registration to the annual conference.

NI Eligibility criteria: (you must meet all criteria 1 to 4)
BRS members are invited to submit images from their research for our annual BRS Judith Adams imaging award. We invite scientific images from across the breadth of BRS members' work, molecule to whole body. Images will be displayed throughout the annual meeting with delegates voting for their favourite. The winning image will be used as the banner image on the BRS Twitter page for the next year and recipient awarded a gift voucher.

The Society also offers a limited number of travel bursaries of up to £150 towards the travel cost of attending the meeting to BRS members submitting abstracts as first authors.

We realise that attending meetings and being away from home may present difficulties for those with caring duties. A grant of up to £100 is available to members who incur additional childcare or other caring costs to attend the annual BRS meeting.
