The BRS Dent Lecture is awarded to someone who has made a major scientific contribution to field of bone research, either within the UK or internationally. The recipient gives a plenary lecture at the BRS annual meeting. To submit a nomination for our 2022 Dent Lecture, please complete the form here and submit it to the Events team.
For the top scoring abstracts from eligible authors. The award will consist of free registration to the annual conference.

NI Eligibility criteria: (you must meet all criteria 1 to 4)
From May 2022 BRS members are invited to submit images from their research for the first annual BRS Judith Adams imaging award. We invite photographs and images from across the breadth of BRS members work, molecule to whole body. Images will be displayed throughout the annual meeting with delegates voting for their favourite. The winning image will be used as the banner image on the BRS twitter page for the next year and recipient awarded a gift voucher.

The Society also offers a limited number of travel bursaries of up to £150 towards the travel cost of attending the meeting to BRS members submitting abstracts as first authors.

We realise that attending meetings and being away from home may present difficulties for those with caring duties. A grant of up to £100 is available to members who incur additional childcare or other caring costs to attend the annual BRS meeting.
