Who should attend?

Due the continuing Coronavirus situation as it looks like it will continue to affect travel and safety for some time to come so it won't be possible to run this as a face-to-face meeting, but we will be running the course online with a mix of high quality on-demand content and weekly live meetings for interactive discussions and questions.

The course will begin with an introduction & sign-posting session on Monday 22nd March. The next interactive sessions will be Monday 29th March, Monday 12th April and Monday 19th April.  We will release the on-demand content for the interactive sessions for each week after the previous Monday live session has finished.

The BRS Online Clinical Training Course 2021 has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 20 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s).

This training course aims to provide clinicians working in medical specialties such as rheumatology, endocrinology, care of the elderly, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, respiratory medicine and clinical chemistry with the knowledge and understanding to manage patients with osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases. A stimulating interactive format will be employed combining lectures, panel discussions, debates and workshops. The course is suitable for clinicians of different levels of expertise, including doctors in specialist training, consultants, GPs and specialist nurses.
